A LITTLE ABOUT ME

My name is Candice, but I prefer to be called Candee. I’m a wife, a mum and a self-confessed revhead. I drive a V8, I ride a dirt bike with my hubby and son, and 4wding on the beach is my happy place.

I’ve been a designer for 10 years. Even typing that seems crazy to me. I have been an agency-based designer for The Star Casino on the Gold Coast, I have created an entire ice-cream shop at the Hilton, right through to promoting both the Fraser Coast and Isaac region to everyone.

Another fun fact – I am a student social worker. Now, I know that seems different and don’t worry – design and marketing is my life. So here’s a short back story – I lost my mum to cancer in August 2019, just 47 days after being diagnosed. What a shock. From that moment I have had this deep desire to help those at the end of their lives with the support they need to navigate, as well as their families. I wrote and designed a cancer journal which I will be donating and publishing for patients.

WHAT I CAN DO

Graphic Design

I am a fully qualified, senior graphic designer with skills that run deep. I have worked with and for some huge organisations and companies – to name a few; The Star Casino, Fraser Coast Tourism, Isaac Regional Council, Queensland Health and more.

Website Design + Management

I also have a diploma in digital media technology, yep, that’s the fancy name for websites and all things digital. WordPress is my JAM! I build websites from scratch in WordPress for clients and love it.

Social Media Management

I thrive on social media and watching the growth, interacting with potential customers and reporting on the success! I am experienced in Facebook Business Manager and creating social schedules for weeks or months in advance, to join part of a bigger campaign is something I live for.
